FreeCell Solitaire – A Free and Simple Online Card Game for Beginners
FreeCell Solitaire is a popular card game for beginners. Thanks to easy navigation and colorful design, it makes the gameplay incredibly delightful. To become a winner, all you need is some luck and a few basic tactics. But there is something more to know about Freecell Solitaire.
Freecell Solitaire Origins
Paul Alfille developed the first computerized version of Freecell Solitaire in 1978. But the major success came in 1991 when the game was integrated into every version of Windows.
Similar to other card games, Freecell Solitaire has a unique set of rules that needs to be followed by every single player. For example, the game is played with one deck of cards. While the number of possible deals is countless, you won’t be able to learn all of them.
How to Play FreeCell?
Once you open Freecell Solitaire on your desktop computer or mobile device, you will see four blank fields standing for Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs. You will find freecells on the left side and homecells on the right side. All cards from the deck are split into eight columns randomly. By moving them around, you need to allocate them into their homecells. Importantly, you will need to move cards in the right order from ace to the king.
Remember that you can have only one card in one Freecell at a time. But you can move any uncovered card there whenever you want. Even though you can use the freecells as much as you want, you should keep them available for future cards you move around.
Despite overall simplicity, Freecell Solitaire has some tricks. Before the game begins, make sure to come up with a plan ahead of time.
